This policy explains how digital products are delivered and how returns and refunds work when purchasing from Business of Cake. All digital items are covered by UK consumer law for downloadable content.

1. Nature of Digital Products

All items sold on this website are digital downloads, unless started otherwise. Once you complete your purchase, you will receive access to your files either:

  • Immediately on the order confirmation page
  • Through your email confirmation
  • Via your account area (if enabled)

No physical items will be shipped.

2. Download Delivery

Digital files are delivered through WooCommerce, email links or secure storage on my website.
You are responsible for:

  • Saving your files to your device
  • Backing up your purchased downloads
  • Ensuring your email address is entered correctly at checkout

If you lose access or have trouble downloading, please email me and I will make sure you receive your files.

3. No Returns or Refunds

Because digital products cannot be “returned”, all sales are final.

Under UK consumer law, you do not have the right to cancel or receive a refund for:

  • Digital content once it has been delivered
  • Products that can be downloaded or accessed instantly

By purchasing a digital item from Business of Cake, you agree to waive your 14-day right to cancel once the download begins.

If you believe you have been charged in error or have not received your files, please get in touch so I can help.

4. Faulty or Inaccessible Downloads

If a file is faulty, corrupt or inaccessible, I will replace it at no cost to you.
A product is considered “faulty” if:

  • The file cannot be opened
  • The file provided is incorrect
  • The link provided does not work

Please contact me with your order number so I can resolve the issue quickly.

5. Licence and Usage Rights

When you buy a digital product, you receive a personal use licence. This means you may:

  • Download the files for your own business use
  • Print or save copies for your own reference

You may not:

  • Share, resell or distribute the files
  • Upload them to public platforms
  • Modify or adapt them for resale
  • Claim the content as your own

All content remains the copyrighted property of Business of Cake.

6. Updates to Content

From time to time, I may improve or update digital products.
Customers may be offered an updated file, but this is not guaranteed unless stated at the time of purchase.
